Megafon Company is launching a Free Modem campaign. Anyone who subscribes to the Megafon 3G Modem package before August 31, 2010, will be reimbursed for the full price of the modem within 4 months time!

The campaign, which was organized in partnership with Universal Pictures studio, plays off the story of the new 3D movie, “Despicable Me,” which inspired the idea for the advertising campaign.

In Megafon’s version of the story, the main characters of the movie, known as Mignons, come to the city and start attacking people with a super powerful weapon, the Megafon 3G modem, in order to conquer the world… the 3G world!

GLOBAL POINT Agency created the concept and designed the key visuals for the advertising campaign. As part of the project, the Agency’s web studio created a promotional website (www.zahvat3g.ru) from which anyone can download ringtones and images of the Despicable Me characters.
