On July 17, 2010, the Winston GLOBAL GATHERING Freedom Music — one of the most anticipated open-air festivals in Russia — took place in St. Petersburg for the third time. The legendary British festival has dominated the dance world for more than 10 years!

The history of the Winston GLOBAL GATHERING Freedom Music began in Russia in 2008. The festival burst into the structured life of the cultural capital with a CRAZY PR action that included giant loud speakers shooting up out of the ground in the heart of St. Petersburg.

In addition to the famous people who participated and the impeccable quality of this event’s organization, the key to the success of the festival was the team that created it: promotional company, DANCE PLANET, and communications agency GLOBAL POINT. Together with the festival’s partner for three years, Winston, this team created an event that was impossible to ignore, with three independent stages — each offering a different musical concept and technical equipment — a wide variety of interactive platforms (like Nintendo, PlayStation, rodeo bull, and many others), fantastic scenery, video installations, and more than twenty thousand fans of electronic music.

Most of the materials, including video, web design and creative development, were created at GLOBAL POINT, which has its own production division. The team of DANCE PLANET, the undisputed leader of promotional companies in Russia, acted as the ideological mastermind of the festival. They also implemented all of the ideas and provided excellent technical support.
